The Italian leading tires company strengthens its positioning in the Cross Country section by partnering with Internazionali d’Italia Series with its seasonal debut in Andora
Internazionali d’Italia Series is set to kick off in Andora on March 7th with a great event enhanced by top-notch international participation. For the first time, the circuit will welcome a new and important partner on the race field.
Pirelli, the Italian World-leading car, motorbike and bicycle tire manufacturer, has chosen to strengthen its presence in the Mountain Bike racing world by supporting the most important Italian XCO circuit, among the most established and popular in Europe. A renowned supplier in World’s leading motorsport competitions, Pirelli looks to establish its presence in the discipline that has always been considered the excellence of Mountain Biking.
Pirelli endows its know-how acquired in off-road racing at the service of Mountain Biking. Rallying and motocross are fundamentals of Pirelli’s DNA, the experience collected in these competitions being the starting point for the research and development process that led to the creation of Scorpion™ MTB, the company’s Mountain-Bike tire line. Pirelli is also co-title sponsor of Team Trek-Pirelli, led by former U23 World Champion Vlad Dascalu.
Together with Pirelli, Internazionali d’Italia Series will hold a highly-anticipated debut on Sunday, March 7th at Andora Race Cup, with many of the World’s strongest racers at the start, including reigning World Champions Jordan Sarrou and Pauline Ferrand Prévot.
