It’s not a secret that climbs are my terrain more than anything else, I will find aplenty in Chies d’Alpago. Two years ago in the European Champs, I finished in fifth place: I look forward to this race”.
After a controlled early season due to last winter’s injury, The CST Sandd American Eagle team’s biker made her way back to the World Cup’s top-3 in Albstadt (Germany), second behind World Champion Jolanda Neff. “In Chies d’Alpago, I want to test my condition in view of the upcoming races – Belomoina explained. “This race will be a truthful testing ground before the World Cup in Val di Sole, and that’s why it’s so important to me. The two are completely different races, but I want to leave a mark over that week.”
In addition to Yana Belomoina, Chies d’Alpago awaits one of the Mountain Bike rising stars, Brit Evie Richards, the U23 Cyclocross World Champion and overall third in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup (U23 category).
