After winning the first important achievements on the road, Africa starts facing the Mountain Bike sector, too. Luke Moir, South-Africa, is the winner of Cadets 2° year at Marlene Südtirol Sunshine Race in Nals (Bosen), the first stage of the Internazionali d’Italia Series circuit. After him, the Swiss Lars Sommer and the Israelian Amar Nadav completed the foreign podium. It is different for the Cadets 1° year‘s race, with an Italian podium: the winner is Filippo Agostinacchio before Matteo Siffredi and the U15 European Champion Gioele Solenne.
Among women Cadets 2° year the Austrian athlete Mona Mitterwallner (Racing Team Haiming) achieves the success. Second place for Letizia Marzani (Merida Italia Team); third place for the German Luisa Daubermann (Stevens MTB). The local athlete Noemi Plankensteiner (Lorenzen Rad) affirms in the 1° year category before Giulia Challancin (WCO Project) and Olivier Chante (Cyclworld).
At the end of the Rookies races, the athletes celebrating are Ivan Franzini (Melavì Focus Bike) and Sophie Auer (Lorenzen Rad), for the 2° year, while Carlo Bonetto (Rostese Rodman) and the Slovenian Hana Zagar Kranjec (Calcit Bike Team) are the 1° year‘s winners.
